Terms of Use

Conditions for professional use of the current free UploadWerk service.

1. Operator and scope

UploadWerk is operated by the individual identified in the Imprint. These terms cover the workflows and supporting pages made available through UploadWerk.

The service is intended mainly for SuccessFactors consultants, implementation partners, migration teams and HRIT professionals.

2. Current service

The currently published workflows are provided free of charge. UploadWerk is in active public testing, so supported templates, limits and availability may change.

UploadWerk supports only the workflows shown in the interface. It does not claim universal SuccessFactors coverage, connect to a tenant or perform the final import.

3. Authorized and lawful use

  • Upload only files and personal data that you are authorized to process and for which an applicable legal basis and lawful instruction exist.
  • Comply with customer agreements, confidentiality duties, data-minimization requirements and project security rules.
  • Do not upload malware, unlawful content or files intended to bypass security controls.
  • Do not probe, scrape, overload, disrupt or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
  • Do not present UploadWerk output as an SAP certification or official validation.

4. Review and project responsibility

UploadWerk prepares files using deterministic rules. It cannot know every tenant-specific picklist, Foundation Object, business rule, permission, dependency, custom field or project decision.

Users must review the complete output, validate tenant-specific values and import order, keep appropriate backups and test files in a suitable non-production tenant before productive use.

5. No guarantee of import success

Generated, transformed or corrected output is not certified and is not guaranteed to be accepted by SuccessFactors or to produce the intended business result.

Troubleshooting suggestions may not resolve undocumented tenant behaviour, incomplete error information or project-specific issues.

6. Files and permitted processing

Users retain their rights in uploaded content and grant UploadWerk only the permission required to process temporary files, provide the requested preview or export, secure the service and meet legal obligations.

Users must not submit content that infringes law, third-party rights or confidentiality duties.

7. Availability and changes

UploadWerk does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, updates, provider outages, security incidents or capacity limits may interrupt the service.

A workflow may be changed, limited or withdrawn where reasonably necessary for service improvement, capacity, security or legal compliance.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory statutory liability.

For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to foreseeable damage typical of this type of service, to the extent legally permitted.

Users remain responsible for project decisions, productive imports and use of output that has not been appropriately reviewed.

9. Independent product

UploadWerk is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected to SAP SE or SAP SuccessFactors.

SAP, SuccessFactors and related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility and intended workflows.

10. Governing law and contact

German law applies to the extent that this choice is legally effective. Mandatory consumer protections and mandatory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
